#FightLikeBrooke PENNY VALENTINE FOR BROOKE

Today I would like to share a story and ask for your help and donations. I am not asking you to spend every penny you have. Just one single penny and to make a card or purchase one and send it to Brooke. But as you do this why not send one to her dad as well.

Because as a parent of a child who ended up getting killed in a accident sometimes the parents are the ones everyone forgets about. We have to enter our homes without our children and  it hurts. So today Brooke is here and fighting for her life in one State her dad John is back her trying to carry on his day to day life. While his heart breaks as he can not be with Brooke. So Please lift them up in Prayers and share this information with everyone you know and lets get them some help and support. As I know Brooke will be fine and that God has her in his arms as we speak.

So in memory of my daughter Suzzane and my son Charlie who is well I would like to help out Brooke and John and to ask all my friends, family and readers of my blog to donate just one penny to make Brooke smile.

If you would like to attend one of the events we have set up for Brooke we would love to have you. Plus do not forget you can shop the Fundraisers we have set up which you can see at: https://www.facebook.com/events/911911158821326

Here is some ways you can help Brooke and John out:

Collect pennies, collect Greeting Cards, Host a Fundraiser in your home, online or a basket party just let me know which company you would like to set one up with. Or attend the events we are hosting. Or just share Brooke’s information with everyone you know. Because as a team we are stronger and can do so much more!!

Send your Valentine with inspirational messages with a PENNY to Brooke Foster!COLLEYVILLE (CBS 11) –A North Texas teen originally from Waxahachie is in Los Angeles alongside her mother receiving experimental cancer treatment.

Brooke Foster, 16, was diagnosed with stage 4 Osteosarcoma last year. It’s a rare form of bone cancer that usually targets teenagers. Her father, John Foster said they’ve tried all forms of treatments but none have worked. Now, they have resorted to experimental treatment that isn’t covered by health insurance.

John Foster added, “It’s really hard because you make these decisions hoping to make the right decision.”

The decision to seek experimental treatments has their family racking up bills in the tens of thousands of dollars.

So, in attempts to help family friend Tracy Gleason has started a Valentine Penny Campaign. She’s asking people to donate a penny and send Brooke a valentine with an inspiring message of hope.

Brooke spoke to CBS 11 through Facetime and said, “words of encouragement really do help us a lot, and it makes everything better.”

The 16-year-old says she is remaining optimistic during these hard times, but know people back home here in North Texas are rooting for her.

She said, “thank you everyone. I am so happy that you all support me and it means so much and it helps me out a lot.”
